(that's someone from NOVA, or Northern VA)
I'm out of Richmond for the next two weeks traveling to Chicago and San Fransisco. I'm in Northern VA for the next couple of days to celebrate the holidays. If you've never lived the life of a Novinan, you must try it sometime. In Nova:
1. They can't drive worth a damn - actully we drive just fine, it's the rest of the world that sucks.
2. The houses are way way way too expensive.
3. We spend way too much money.
4. We don't like NOVA once we leave. Which is a terrible shame for it's not so bad. You ...just have to have a ot of money to live here.
While I've been here, I've got to experience a new culture - being a women. I'm one of those who don't like wearing makeup, nail polish, basically anything I have to waste my time in the morning on. (except my hair. My hair has to be pristine). My mom took us out to get my first manicure and pedicure...and it was fantastic. I got a french painting on my hands and green toe nail polish with little stickers. I feel like a girl right now! It's like the way I felt the first time I got my hair cut at a real boutique. Sure it's expensive, but oh so worth it!
Merry Christmas every one.
PS - Slate and Lesley, why haven't you written in your blog lately, it's been 3 days!
